Charlotte: Styling Kinds of Grace Bags

Charlotte loves her Indigofera Veneer Handbag and Bravia Onyx Wallet, so she styles them in all different ways. Here are just some of them...

For years I’ve been saying that I need to add more colour to my wardrobe while I continued to wear black 90% of the time. Getting my Indigofera Veneer vegan handbag from Kinds of Grace mid last year finally forced me to actually start incorporating some colour into my style. I’ve never had a statement piece such as this before and its inspired me to start being more creative and colourful with how I dress. At the same time, it’s also perfect to pair with an all-black outfit or more neutral tones as it adds a pop of colour. Basically, you can make this vegan handbag work with pretty much any outfit and it will always shine bright.

I’ve also styled my Bravia Onyx vegan wallet which is an absolute classic. The black vegan leather is sleek and it certainly spices up an outfit with the beautiful gold detailing.

The best part of all though is that these bags are 100% cruelty free, contributing to a kinder way of living for the animals, earth and humans who make them.

I take my bags everywhere and have had so many compliments on them. I can’t wait to continue finding ways to style them because they are the best!

Green queen

Mother nature is calling and she wants you to bring your Indigofera Veneer handbag with you! This green and purple combo is one of my faves. I usually store my bag on my desk right next to my plants and I loved the colours together so much that I just had to channel that into an outfit!

This is the first of three outfits featuring my beloved Hara the Label flares; the perfect ethical pairing for your vegan handbag.

On fire

Next up is all things orange! Now this is a colour combo that POPS. I adore that they’re both such bright and bold colours which also complement each other so well. If you’re looking to make a statement, this is the outfit to go for.

As you stride in style, all your essentials can be stored in your vegan handbag as it’s so spacious and roomy in there. The detachable strap is also super handy so that you can hold everything together while strutting your stuff. The flares are again from Hara The Label and the cute lil top is from Depop.

Summer dreaming

Last but definitely not least is the mauve Hara flares. I’m obsessed with these two shades of purple together and having paired it with a white one shoulder top and sunnies, this outfit is radiating all the summer vibes. I love that the lighter colours allow the rich indigo colour of the bag to stand out and be the statement piece that it is.

Going to chill in the park and soak up some sun? It’s easy to take your trusty vegan leather bag along with all the goodies you might need inside. Inside my bag would be some snacks (vegan of course), a hat and some poetry to read (probably The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur).

Double denim baby

This good old double denim look becomes extra cute when paired with my vegan handbag. The dark wash button-up dress is from an op shop and the lighter wash jacket is from Depop (second hand for the win!). You could catch me wearing my black vegan leather docs with this outfit as I head off to a picnic or even just to run errands.

Back to basics

Now I know I said I was trying to incorporate more colour into my wardrobe but sometimes I just can’t resist a classic all-black look. The good thing though is that my IndigoFera vegan bag adds that much needed pop of colour. This outfit is again thrifted as the maxi skirt and boob tube are both from op shops (yay!). As much as the indigo vegan leather takes centre stage, so does the gold detailing, especially when paired with gold jewellery. If you too find yourself opting for black clothing each morning then pairing it with a handbag like this will help take your outfit to the next level.

Suit up

Moving on to styling the Bravia Onxy wallet, this outfit has a special place in my heart. Completely thrifted, it includes hound’s-tooth pants and a to-die-for vintage coat from Depop as well as a black one shoulder top from The Drobe. When wearing this outfit, I feel in control and ready to tackle the day but I couldn’t do it without my vegan wallet by my side! As well as looking amazing it can also fit all of your cards, keys, lip balm or any little bits and bobs you might need while on the go. The gold chain strap makes it easy to carry around but it’s also detachable and fits in the wallet neatly if you need to swap to a clutch. To complete the look, I’d choose to wear my vegan docs.

You’re so golden

Hey Siri, play Golden by Harry Styles.

I’ve saved the fanciest for last and this outfit is alllll glitz and glam. From the dress to the jewellery to the detailing on the wallet, everything is gold and bold! I am definitely a gold jewellery person so the plating on the wallet adds the perfect touch to this look. I bought this magical dress second-hand and it is my go-to when heading to a special occasion. And remember, a luxurious outfit deserves a luxurious bag to go with it!
