Luxury Labels Offering Vegan Fashion

As we all know, luxury fashion houses are far from cruelty-free. However, as brands continue to pledge to make more animal friendly choices, vegan luxury fashion is slowly becoming more common - vegan designer bags, wallets, coats, you name it. Here are some of our top picks…

Vegan leather garments from Nanushka

Nanushka has an incredibly diverse selection of vegan leather garments - dresses, blazers, jackets, pants, you name it. Their faux leather garments have graced magazine covers, and been worn by celebrities and influencers alike. Their vegan leather puffer was a street style favourite for practically everyone in the fashion industry for some time.

Vegan luxury label HIRAETH

Co-created by celebrity actress, activist and vegan, Rooney Mara, HIRAETH is an entirely vegan label. They do not using any fur, leather, wool, silk or down. Their collections include beautiful vegan leather garments and shoes, silk-free dresses and wool-free suiting.

Vegan handbags and wallets by Mimco

Renowned label Mimco created their first vegan designer handbags from apple leather, made from the waste from the apple juice industry, and made into something beautiful and lasting.

The collection's release was a huge win for animals, as Mimco otherwise produces a huge amount of animal skin products. Times really are changing!

Vegan platform shoes from Stella McCartney

Vegetarian label Stella McCartney never uses animal skins, and produces beautiful shoes made from vegan materials. One of their most well-known designs are their platform sneakers and lace up shoes. We are in love with this starry pair, that prove luxury fashion can be cruelty-free and instead, animal-friendly.

Wool-free coat from Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood, the iconic label run by self-proclaimed personal vegetarian, is slowly becoming more animal friendly. Not only is the luxury label now creating vegan designer handbags, but offering beautiful coats like this one, made entirely free from animal fibres we too often see. Instead, this coat is made from cotton plants.

Faux fur from Shrimps

While luxury brands like Gucci, Versace, Chanel, Armani and more have gone fur free, some like Shrimps have been creating beautiful vegan fur coats from their conception. This brand also creates vegan leather garments and leather free, vegan designer bags from cute and quirky materials. They're killing it (without doing so literally!)

Vegan wallets from luxury brand Kinds of Grace

Bringing exotic skins back in a kind way, Kinds of Grace is creating luxurious snakeskin wallets and crocodile bags, made entirely without animal materials. Made ethically, and with half the environmental impact of conventional leather, there's a lot to love here, and not just aesthetically.
